| Best solution is to continue with HC-06 !
It is compatible almost with every Android..

de-si-gn, Try Android 6 once more , test with BLE Checker,,, There can be older version Bluetooth chip inside , lower than 4.0.. Bluetooth version needs to be above 4.1...
Android version and Bluetooth version is not the same...
If the phone pass the BLE checker . Then start scan first, after that apply power to module...
Also in Terminal send to module commandAT+ADTY?
What is the answer ? It must be " 0 " If it is something else,
then issue commad AT+ADTY0 and AT+RESET ...
Try Scan again.....

Off course it is big.. There is included all possible think of elements, for helping you port or implement your
code with it... No need for searching for missing functions.. They are all included..
And if you even once, could read descriptions,, but no... There I wrote it to be, a bear bone application, not a final product..
Just for testing purposes...
I was tempted to send you only absolutely needed, stripped down, code.. But no, I was kind, and taught of helping you out
as much as possible...
I seriously regret participating in first place. Please kindly delete all of the material I sent you...

With AutoConnect, no need to fiddle every time with searching and connecting.. Just power on, and off you go to the KOP
But, NO !! I don't do it. I seriously have no desire to do it. Neither participate ever more..

В тесте nonametdy блютуз НЕ ДОЛЖЕН быть сопряжен с Андроидом.
Andrew, если у вас нет рабочего модуля Блютуз 4, то работу приложения можно проверить на эмуляторе https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LU-Iq_G5iEk

Похоже осталось нас двое..( Господин фин как то очень болезненно отреагировал на мой вопрос "Кто писал приложение?". Я Хотел понять сможет ли он совместить мои приложения со своими, а он начал про животных рассказывать.. (
А теперь главное, Что я хотел проверить - проверено! Есть реально работающая программа с удовлетворительной задержкой на НС-08 модеме. Еще сделаю некоторые доработки самого приложения и адаптирую "8" и "9" версии "Рейтинга" под "Смарт". Кто захочет попробовать - попробует...
Как я уже неоднократно писал, у меня нет не 10 модема и не 4 блютуза... И изучать подробно блютуз модемы и Андроиды тоже не вижу огромного смысла для себя, тем более у меня тоже есть работа , которая не для души а для "тела" и не только моего..)
Хотите подключить 10 модем - пишите приложения соединения с ним , с одной-двумя кнопками. А я подключу его к своему проекту. Это не лично вам, а всем кто нас читает и особенно сильно занятому Поташову, думаю для него это дело 20 минут...)

| Возможно будет полезно знать, что приложение созданное в app inventor2, с поддержкой BT4.0 , будет работать на минимум ANDROID 5, а не 4.4, как у меня(

Владею BT4.0 модулем JDY-08, перешитым в HM10 v6.04, но пока нигде не примененным (хоть и есть ВЕЛИКИЕ задумки)) Готов передать Автору Крота для... пользы дела. Было-бы неплохо отказаться полностью от дисплея

2. MIT App Inventor->EXTENSION->"Import Extension" / From My Computer
3. From Extension, Drag BluetoothLE in to Screen1
4. Build app -> Connect BLE
